Construction Manager's work with homeowners, businesses, adjusters, and sub-contractors after traumatic events such as fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial properties. you will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects, sign up the work, and oversee the execution of the restoration project (while controlling and communicating the budget effectively). This is an incredibly dynamic role, in which you will build relationships with insurance professionals, be the frontline contact with homeowners and set their expectations for restoring their properties back to health, manage your own budgets, and direct the work of Technicians and subcontractors. Your time will be spent both in the office as well as in the field to see your projects get completed properly.

Qualifications (Requirements):
  • High character with uncompromising commitment to honesty and integrity;

  • Clean driving record and a reliable car (company pays generous car allowance and gas/toll reimbursements).
Prior experience as a restoration project manager, construction project manager, estimator, or insurance adjuster are strong pluses (but must be willing to learn a new process). Industry certifications or licenses (such as IICRC, Lead, Mold, etc.) also strongly preferred. If limited experience but you meet all qualifications, we will invest in your training!
Role on the Team (Job Functions):
  • Meet operational objectives of: Sales, Gross Margin, Brand Experience, etc.;
  • Profitably scope, estimate, and sign projects to get started, then create work orders and manage the entire execution of the project while managing your own budget;
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and service level agreements;
  • Build relationships with insurance professionals, TPAs, and customers (both direct and B2B);
  • Recruit, develop, and manage subcontractors/tradesmen; develop partnerships and improve team performance.

  • Highly competitive compensation structure, with base salary plus uncapped commissions based on projects completed. Our current Construction Manager's yearly total compensations range from $50k (base salary before any commission, paid weekly) to >$200k depending on production. Candidates with significant prior experience as restoration project managers may qualify to start immediately as Senior Construction Manager at higher base salary. Regardless of seniority, there is no limit to earning potential! We believe in meritocracy and rewarding high performers!
  • Eligible for full benefits (an initial qualification period may apply), including: health, dental, vision and disability insurances; earned vacation and sick days; 401(k) with company matching; HSA with company matching; and additional annual performance-based bonuses.
  • Generous monthly cell phone allowances, car allowances, gas and toll reimbursements, etc.
The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Sometimes required to use personal protective equipment.
